LAWRENCE HEALTH SERVICES
— a county-owned hospital located in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas — is a unique healthcare campus. Serving a rural, agricultural population, it meets a broad range of needs from emergency trauma and teleport to traditional nursing home services. It is the only facility in the country to pilot a program that offers a community health center, urgent care, emergency department and rural health clinic. Here, patients can be triaged, stabilized and transferred to mega-hospitals. They can get services of specialists who travel from those hospitals for clinics locally.

LHS offers a rare combination of points of care to people from Lawrence and surrounding counties.

In an effort to make healthcare available to as many people as possible, Lawrence Health Services offers rural health clinics. A clinic is strategically located where healthcare is needed and will be utilized. Hours of the health clinic are determined by use of the facility.


The Specialty Clinic is where you will find our specialists in various medical fields. Your doctor may refer you to a specialist in order to target your condition. A specialist may be able to better treat your condition than a general practictioner.....

Jelly Bean Junction is an intergenerational day care centers for children in their infancy to preschool ages. It is located beside Lawrence Hall Nursing Center, and preschoolers visit the older residents on a regular basis.
