LHS Honors Nurses

Lawrence Health Services proudly recognized its nurses during National Nurses Week, held May 6-12.

“In celebration of National Nurses Week, we want to thank all of the nurses who dedicate their time to assuring each patient receives the utmost care,” said Director of Nursing Rosalind Casillas. “Our nurses strive for excellence in their care.”

Lawrence Memorial Hospital has held the top position in Arkansas for core measures in Pneumonia and Heart Failure since June 2008.

“We work together as a hospital to assure our standards of excellence,” said Casillas. “And we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the nurses who serve on staff at Lawrence Memorial for their dedication to caring for those you love.”

National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6 and ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. This observance is as an opportunity to recognize the contributions that nurses and nursing make to the community.
